Anti-Ageing Cosmetic Procedure by using Botox

Medical practitioners and doctors (cosmetic –surgeons and dermatologists etc) are performing several types of non-surgical cosmetic procedures for people suffering from different types of skin problems and conditions. These types of cosmetic procedures are performed for facial restoration, skin rejuvenation and improving facial expressions etc. Especially, these types of solutions are used to treat ageing signs. Such procedures are also known as Anti-Ageing Cosmetic Procedures. Medical practitioners have been using Botox, a cosmetic solution, for years to successfully treat wrinkles and facial creases. Botox is a toxin that is produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum. This solution is used to inject in the areas need to be treated. A very fine needle is used and in a very small amount botox is injected. It works by blocking signals from the nerves to the muscles. The injected muscle cannot contract that makes the wrinkles relax and soften. Often, this anti-ageing solution is used on forehead lines, crow's feet which actually are lines around the eye, and frown-lines. In Auckland, the procedure is performed by dermatologists and expert medical-practitioners in few minutes. Yes, getting botox-cosmetic procedure done is only matter of a few minutes. It does not require anesthesia. As it is injected with a fine needle into specific muscles, it is associated with minor discomfort. The results are effectively shown and fully shown generally in three to seven days. People, who wish to go under this procedure, are advised to avoid alcohol starting at least one week before the procedure. They are suggested to stop taking aspirin and anti-inflammatory medications two weeks before treatment to reduce bruising. Side effects are associated that are completely normal and temporary. There can be little swelling and bruising around the area treated that is due to injectables. The effects will last four to six months. And this is not a permanent procedure to get rid of ageing signs and spots. As muscle action gradually returns, the lines and wrinkles begin to reappear! And they need to be treated again. The procedure is repeated over a period of time and there is no harm in it. In fact, the lines and wrinkles often appear less severe with time because the muscles are being trained to relax and repeat sessions increases the effects.
