Difference between Juvederm and botox

A considerable number of people in Auckland who are a bit too keen to get wrinkle removal treatment appear to be desirous of receiving such a facial rejuvenation treatment that can provide them with good results with as little downtime as possible. And then there are also some people who do not want to undergo any sort of surgery for the removal of fine lines and wrinkles on their face. Luckily, they are living in an era where there are quite a few alternatives to surgery available that can offer great results without requiring them to go under the knife. One such treatment that has caught people’s eyes in recent times is juvederm treatment. However, it is extremely important for people to have realistic expectations from such treatments. They also need to be aware of the fact that there exists no non surgical treatment yet that can tighten their saggy skin. It can only treat fine lines and light wrinkles, folds and furrows.

Many people, however, tend to get confused between injectable treatments such as juvederm, radiesse and botox. They use these terms interchangeably but that is nothing but a big misunderstanding. The purpose of botox is to reduce the muscular contraction of the facial muscles which in turn leads to the softening of wrinkles and folds. Fillers such as juvederm and radiesse, on the other hand, are used to raise and fill up those areas of the face where there has been a significant loss of collagen due to age and other factors. These sorts of injectables are usually injected into the parentheses lines, which exist between the corner of the mouth and nose, as well as the marionette lines that are found existing between corner of the mouth and the chin. Fillers like these can also be used for the purpose of adding volume to certain areas of the face such as lips, to make them appear fuller and sexier.

There are different types of fillers being offered in the market these days, with juvederm leading the pack. The reason why you should go for it is because it is composed of hyaluronic acid, which is also found in human body. Therefore, you can expect much more natural results with this filler than any other available in the market. The fact that this compound is also found in our body means that there are absolutely no chances of it being rejected by the body.
